Generally, there're 4 types of cutting blade and each of them is suitable for different kind of fabrics:

1) Cold cutting blade is suitable for non-elastic fabrics without burrs;

2) Heat cutting blade is suitable for non-elastic fabrics with burrs;

3) Ultrasonic cutting blade is suitable for non-elastic fabrics with burrs (fabric has more smooth edge after ultrasonic cutting than heat cutting blade);

4) Laser cutting blade is suitable for elastic fabric with burrs.

But there's some exceptions like 100% cotton fabric is totally not suitable for edge cutting.
